BUYER REGISTRATION

All buyers must register prior to bidding and will be required to provide proof of identity.

PAYMENT ON THE DAY OF SALE

Money Laundering Regulations 2007

We do not accept cash payments or bank transfers of more than £5,000. We accept cheques with a valid guarantee card. No lots will be released to buyers unknown to Beckford Fine Art before their cheques have cleared.

BUYER'S COMMISSION

A buyers commission of 15% will be payable by the purchaser on all lots on the hammer price.

VAT

We are not currently registered for VAT

ARTISTS RESALE RIGHT

Where any item is potentially affected by this legislation the catalogue is marked with a symbol (#) below the lot number.

A royalty charge of 4% will apply to the hammer price where the item sells at or more than the UK equivalent of 1000 Euros. This charge is added to the purchaser's invoice and then paid to the collecting agency by the auctioneers.

EXPORT OF GOODS

Buyers intending to export goods must ascertain if an export license is required, comply with regulations and indemnify the auctioneer aganist liability.
