Beckford Fine Art was founded in 2007 by James Forster BA(Hons) FAV, FAV DIP

Prior to establishing Beckford Fine Art, James worked as a Picture Valuer for Sotheby's, Bond Street.  He travelled extensively throughout the United Kingdom and Europe cataloguing and valuing large high value picture collections.

He has previously worked for Bonhams, Bath as Head of the Picture Department, and Dreweatt Neate, Tunbridge Wells as a General Valuer and Auctioneer.

Exhibitions

Jo Furnival graduated from Newcastle University in 2008 with a First Class degree in Classical Studies.  Having done work experience for Bonhams, London, Jo developed an interest in the art market.

She is currently working for Beckford Fine Art, liaising with local artists and developing the online services and exhibitions side of the business.
